Marketing is something beyond sales, there is a common notion that marketing means sales and we will have to sell the products of an organization. But one needs to be very much clear that marketing is broader and sales is just a part of it. Yes we can say that the role of marketing is to increase the sales. whatever a management professional indulged in marketing does, whether it is brand value management, product development planning, branding, public relation, promotion, endorsements, creating the marketing mix, market research, campaign planning, and management, etc. is directly or indirectly concerned with sales and contributes in sales generation.

If one has all these traits or qualities in oneself as his/her base personality then welcome to the marketing field, marketing has a lot to offer you. Curiosity, content and communication are the center or core of marketing and if one is comfortable and has these three C’s as their core traits then marketing specialization is the best specialization to go for. Marketing demands more hardship but this fact can’t be ignored that there is no work profile that can offer success without hardship, with hardship one gains experience, and that experience creates a personality and a successful career.
