Events and Festivities at I Business Institute, Greater Noida

The word “EVENT” incorporates hundreds and thousands of meanings and that depends completely on where it is being conducted, why it is being organized, by whom it is being organized and for which occasion it is being organized.

Event is mostly specified by the cause of its planning and the result expected. The title and the activities included completely reflect the event. That’s how it works in corporates.

Events, small or big are planned and organized with some specific intent, it can be either to disseminate information with immediate network close customers or partners, for the purpose of networking i.e. to engage with more people, broadening marketing horizon, brand promotion, etc.

Above mentioned reasons are the basics of the inclusion of events in the structure of education and especially in management courses by B Schools.

Events play a very significant role in the development of management skills, coordination salgen.it skills, critical thinking skills, problem-solving skills, fundraising or sponsorship, money management skills, presentation & facilitation skills, and public speaking skills.

When an event is organized at an inter-institutional or intra-institutional level significant participation is required from both sides students as well as administration. In most of the PGDM institutions, 90% of the responsibility is given to the students.  From organization, and management, to presentation and conclusions every aspect, every activity is planned and executed by the students mostly, but under the observation and guidance of the administration.

Events organized are an opportunity to learn and practice by implementing the concepts taught in classrooms. It is a platform to learn, to plan, to strategize, to present, to do the math, to transform the introverted into an extrovert.

Festivities are a way to celebrate the diversity of population, colors, seasons, and to savor the milestones reached in a particular time frame. Festivities aid in connecting with each other and rejoicing together, which creates an atmosphere of fun-filled learning with involvement which leads to holistic development.

I BUSINESS INSTITUTE- PGDM INSTITUTE

I Business Institute through events and festivities tries to incorporate a sense of confidence, along with making learning an interactive process. Events at I Business Institute are majorly focused towards a few motives i.e. to involve the students in management activities, to create an environment where the students themselves come forward and take steps to make themselves more capable, presentable, and instill in themselves the basic traits of a leader/manager, to teach the students significance of participation, leadership, confidence, public speaking, manifestation,  presentability and to create an urge within students to be participative and Interactive. I Business Institute is a like a family far away from home and the celebrations of different festivities from different cultures help the students in adapting well to the new family and connect with the new friends.
