  1. The most basic skill requirement of most of the companies from a Management Graduate is good Communication ability. English Communication is definitely the need of the hour of Management graduates but to clearly convince the clients and customers language may not be the barrier. Good interaction & communication is the key.
  2. The way a person presents himself / herself (self-presentation) is also important. The way he / she dresses and carries himself; the basic etiquettes of greeting and showing polite gestures is something which is expected of all the management graduates of any management college. The management colleges should in two years of their course totally inbuild this in every student, it is actually mandatary.
  3. The person should have the initiative and drive to do the work. It would be the starting of the career for an individual. Its important that the management graduate should have the zeal to work and should spread the positivity around him / her.
  4. Adaptability is another key skill needed. A professional who can adapt to any situation will be valued more as the situation and circumstances are quite dynamic in nature. You improve upon your brand value if you can adapt to different situation.
  5. One should also have the Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The out -of- box thinking approach sometimes results in delivering the best solution with very little effort. Definitely such skills give an edge to the management graduates over others.

  7. Conflict management and resolution is another key skill which is highly valued by organisations. Management colleges which equip their students with this skill by means of role play and case studies, simulation method, definitely secure the future of their students.
  8. Though being a junior in the workforce team, still Leadership Skills are very important for every individual. In crisis situation your leadership skills can help you steer and move your organisation to a different level and take you to a higher rung on the ladder.
  9. Time Management is another important aspect which the graduates are expected to know especially in their initial years of professional life. Initially since the management graduates are new to the work, they take longer hours to understand and work, so managing the time is a very critical skill set. But being in a good management college you actually do not have to learn this, as the two years of rigorous training in the college makes you adept in Time Management skills.
  10. And from the above point we also come to the fact that Multi-tasking is another very important skill which the companies expect. This is also one of the solutions to managing time, if you are hard pressed for time and you can multi task, you can very easily do great work wise.
